This Shipping Policy explains how Cornerstone Research Supply, operated by Cornerstone Research LLC, handles order processing, shipping, carrier issues, returned packages, and delivery-related concerns.
Orders are processed after payment has been received, reviewed, and accepted. Placing an order does not automatically mean the order has been accepted.
We make a good-faith effort to process accepted orders promptly. Processing times may vary based on payment clearance, order volume, inventory availability, weather, holidays, compliance review, fraud review, or other business needs.
Orders are not shipped until payment has cleared or has otherwise been accepted by Cornerstone Research Supply. Manual payment methods, bank transfers, Zelle, cryptocurrency, PayPal holds, or other payment methods may require additional verification or processing time.
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. This includes the recipient name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state, ZIP code, and any other required delivery information.
Cornerstone Research Supply is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returned packages, or lost packages caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable shipping information provided by the customer.
When tracking is available, tracking information may be provided by email, website account, or order update. Tracking updates are controlled by the carrier and may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.
Once an order is handed over to the shipping carrier, the carrier controls transit, routing, scanning, delivery timing, and final delivery.
Carrier delays can happen and may be outside of our control. These may include weather delays, routing delays, tracking delays, staffing delays, holiday volume, misdelivery, failed delivery attempts, or local delivery restrictions.
If tracking shows that a package was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should first check the delivery area, mailbox, parcel locker, front desk, household members, neighbors, and carrier delivery details.
Packages marked delivered by the carrier are generally considered delivered. Cornerstone Research Supply cannot guarantee replacement or refund for packages marked delivered by the carrier, including packages that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or not retrieved after delivery.
If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, incomplete address, refused delivery, failed delivery attempt, package forwarding issue, or failure to retrieve the package, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs or other costs related to reshipment.
Returned packages are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Because the products are sensitive research materials, returned packages may not be eligible for resale, return to inventory, refund, or reshipment depending on time in transit, storage conditions, packaging condition, and product integrity concerns.
Research materials can be sensitive to storage conditions, temperature exposure, and handling. Customers are responsible for retrieving packages promptly after delivery and storing products appropriately after receipt.
Cornerstone Research Supply is not responsible for product issues caused by delayed retrieval, heat exposure after delivery, freezing or extreme cold exposure after delivery, improper storage, mishandling, opening, puncturing, reconstitution, transfer, contamination, or customer error.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, hold, or restrict shipment of any order based on shipping restrictions, product restrictions, legal concerns, compliance concerns, payment concerns, fraud concerns, inventory issues, or business risk.
Some products may be unavailable for shipment to certain locations. Availability may change without notice.
If international shipping is offered, the customer is solely responsible for knowing and complying with all import laws, customs rules, duties, taxes, fees, permits, and restrictions that apply in the destination country.
Cornerstone Research Supply is not responsible for customs delays, customs seizure, import refusal, additional duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or losses caused by international shipping restrictions. We reserve the right to refuse international orders at our discretion.
If an order arrives with a broken vial, cracked vial, leaking vial, missing item, incorrect item, damaged packaging that affects product integrity, compromised seal, labeling error, fulfillment error, or visible abnormality present before the product is opened or altered, the customer must contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Claims should be sent to info@cornerstoneresearchsupply.com with the order number, product name, batch number if available, clear photos, and a brief description of the issue.
Shipping questions may be sent to: info@cornerstoneresearchsupply.com
